The tethered cap is a small thing that matters
Dr. Rajesh Nair
Whoever decided to hinge the reducer rather than leave it loose has clearly worked in a theatre. We lost two loose reducers into the drapes last year. This one stays where it should.

Solid build, sizing is accurate
Dr. Vikram Sethi
Sizing is exactly as stated, which matters more than people assume — a cannula that is a fraction under leaks around the instrument. These seat correctly with both our 5 mm and 10 mm sets.

Better than the imported set we were using
Dr. Manish Rawat Verified purchase
Honestly comparable to the imported brand we were buying at nearly three times this price. We ran both side by side for a month before switching over completely.

Good grip in the abdominal wall
OT Technician, City Care Hospital
The textured shaft does what it claims — no slow backing out during a long case, which was our main complaint with the smooth cannulae we used before. Entry is smooth and the fascial defect stays small.

Standard on our lists now
Dr. Arjun Bhatia Verified purchase
We have used roughly two hundred of these over the past few months across general and gynae lists. Not a single valve failure, which speaks for itself. The blunt tip is noticeably kinder on the port site than the cutting pattern we used previously.

Good value for a busy unit
Nurse Manager, Lotus Multispecialty
We do around fifteen laparoscopic cases a week and the cost difference against our previous supplier is significant over a year. Quality has held up so far.

Reliable, delivery could be quicker
Dr. Sunita Deshpande Verified purchase
No complaints on the product itself; it performs consistently across our lists. Took about nine days to reach us in Nagpur, which is a little slow if you are running low. Ordering earlier solves it.

Q
Do you supply the obturator separately if ours is damaged?
Asked by Dr. Suresh Pillai · 25 Aug 2026
AYes. Obturators are stocked separately for all reusable patterns. Quote the trocar size and pattern when ordering so we send the matching one.

Q
Will the reducer cap fit cannulae from another manufacturer?
Asked by Dr. Anand Kulkarni · 09 May 2026
AIt fits standard 10 mm cannulae, which covers most brands. If you are using a proprietary or non-standard port, send us the make and model and we will confirm before you order.

Q
Is this supplied sterile or does it need autoclaving before first use?
Asked by Dr. Imran Shaikh · 06 May 2026
AThe disposable trocars are supplied sterile and ready to use — do not autoclave them. The reusable stainless steel patterns are supplied non-sterile and must be autoclaved before first use and between every case.

Q
Which size should I order for a standard laparoscopic cholecystectomy?
Asked by Dr. Suresh Pillai · 07 Apr 2026
AMost cholecystectomies use one 10 mm camera port and one 10 mm working port, plus two 5 mm ports. If you are ordering a starter set, 10 mm and 5 mm together will cover the majority of general laparoscopic work.

Q
How many times can the reusable trocar be autoclaved?
Asked by CSSD Supervisor, Shree Hospital · 17 Feb 2026
AThere is no fixed cycle limit — the body will outlast the seals. Expect to replace the valve seals periodically depending on use; they are stocked as spare parts and can be changed without returning the instrument.
