A reusable trocar built around a magnetically seated valve. The magnet returns the flapper to its seat after every instrument pass, so pneumoperitoneum holds steady through a long procedure instead of degrading as a spring valve tires. The spiral thread on the cannula is the reason most surgeons choose this pattern: it anchors positively in the abdominal wall and all but eliminates the slow migration that pulls a smooth cannula out of the cavity during repeated exchanges. It matters most in bariatric work and anywhere the abdominal wall is thick. Machined from surgical stainless steel and fully autoclavable. The valve housing strips without tools for cleaning, and every seal is a stocked replacement part rather than a sealed-for-life assembly.

  • Optical entry is genuinely clear

    Dr. Manish Rawat Verified purchase

The transparent tip gives a properly readable view of each layer separating. In redo abdomens that visibility is the reason we use this rather than a blind entry, and it has been reliable.

  • Solid build, sizing is accurate

    Dr. Rajesh Nair

Sizing is exactly as stated, which matters more than people assume — a cannula that is a fraction under leaks around the instrument. These seat correctly with both our 5 mm and 10 mm sets.

  • Holds pneumoperitoneum properly

Nurse Manager, Lotus Multispecialty Verified purchase

We switched to these after the valves on our previous set started leaking by the second year. Through a full list the pressure holds steady even with repeated instrument exchange, which is really the only test that matters. Packaging is sterile and intact every time.

  • Good grip in the abdominal wall

    Dr. Imran Shaikh

The textured shaft does what it claims — no slow backing out during a long case, which was our main complaint with the smooth cannulae we used before. Entry is smooth and the fascial defect stays small.

  • Reliable, delivery could be quicker

    Dr. Arjun Bhatia Verified purchase

No complaints on the product itself; it performs consistently across our lists. Took about nine days to reach us in Nagpur, which is a little slow if you are running low. Ordering earlier solves it.

  • Q

Will the reducer cap fit cannulae from another manufacturer?

Asked by Dr. Priya Ramanathan · 22 Aug 2026

    A

It fits standard 10 mm cannulae, which covers most brands. If you are using a proprietary or non-standard port, send us the make and model and we will confirm before you order.

  • Q

How many times can the reusable trocar be autoclaved?

Asked by Dr. Manish Rawat · 11 Aug 2026

    A

There is no fixed cycle limit — the body will outlast the seals. Expect to replace the valve seals periodically depending on use; they are stocked as spare parts and can be changed without returning the instrument.

  • Q

Do you supply the obturator separately if ours is damaged?

Asked by Dr. Rajesh Nair · 10 Jul 2026

    A

Yes. Obturators are stocked separately for all reusable patterns. Quote the trocar size and pattern when ordering so we send the matching one.

  • Q

Which size should I order for a standard laparoscopic cholecystectomy?

Asked by Dr. Meera Iyer · 09 Jul 2026

    A

Most cholecystectomies use one 10 mm camera port and one 10 mm working port, plus two 5 mm ports. If you are ordering a starter set, 10 mm and 5 mm together will cover the majority of general laparoscopic work.

  • Q

Is the optical trocar compatible with our existing 0 degree scope?

Asked by Dr. Arjun Bhatia · 27 Apr 2026

    A

It accepts a standard 0° laparoscope. Both 5 mm and 10 mm scopes are accommodated depending on the trocar size ordered.
