Bright, clear image
Dr. Imran Shaikh Verified purchase
Rod-lens optics give noticeably better light transmission than the fibre scope we replaced. The difference at depth is obvious.

Autoclaves without fogging
Dr. Lakshmi Narayanan Verified purchase
Many cycles in with no moisture ingress or clouding, which is where scopes usually start to fail. Seals are clearly good.

Excellent optics, handle with care
Dr. Arjun Bhatia
Image quality is genuinely very good. As with any scope it is fragile — we bought the metal case at the same time and would recommend doing so.

Good value against imported scopes
Dr. Kavita Menon Verified purchase
We compared against a well-known imported scope and the image is close enough that the price difference decided it for us.

Light post fits our existing cables
CSSD Supervisor, Shree Hospital
Standard fitting worked with the cables we already had, so no additional purchase needed. Straightforward.

Q
Is the scope autoclavable?
Asked by Dr. Sandeep Joshi · 05 Jul 2026
AYes, it is fully autoclavable. Follow the stated cycle parameters and allow it to cool naturally rather than quenching, which is what damages seals over time.

Q
Will it fit our existing light cable?
Asked by Dr. Arjun Bhatia · 25 Jun 2026
AIt has a standard fibre-optic light post which fits most common cables. Tell us which cables you use and we will confirm, or supply an adapter if needed.

Q
Should I buy the 0 degree or the 30 degree scope?
Asked by Nurse Manager, Lotus Multispecialty · 02 May 2026
AIf you are buying one, buy the 0° — it is easier to learn on because what you see corresponds directly to where you point. Add the 30° once you are oriented; it is the better scope for the difficult gallbladder and for pelvic work.

Q
What is the difference between rod-lens and fibre optics?
Asked by Dr. Sunita Deshpande · 07 Apr 2026
AA rod-lens train transmits considerably more light and resolves better than a fibre bundle of the same diameter. At depth in the abdomen that is the difference between a workable image and a good one.

Q
Do you recommend buying a case with the scope?
Asked by Dr. Arjun Bhatia · 24 Feb 2026
AYes. Most scope damage happens outside the patient, in transit or in a drawer. The metal scope box with a foam cradle is inexpensive relative to the scope and prevents the most common damage.
